Don't you just love the part of prescription drug commercials when they talk about the side effects? They tell you how much the drug will help make your life better and then follow all of the pie-in-the-sky rhetoric with news about the possibility that your head may fall off. I'm exaggerating about someone's head falling off, of course, but some of the things they do mention are quite shocking.

Drugs.com (www.drugs.com), a site that provides "prescription drug information for consumers and professionals", touts itself as "the most popular, comprehensive, and up-to-date information resource online." According to the heading at the top of their site, they have information on over 24,000 approved medications.

At Drugs.com, you can search for information on a certain medication or just read some informative articles. The Drugs.com website also has a Medication Advisor feature. Through Medication Advisor, site visitors are able to obtain a second opinion about medications. A free Medication Risk Assessment is available. A full-coverage "Med Plan" for the family is available for $29.95.
