  1. Jinmao Tower is the tallest building in China and the fourth tallest building in the world. Located in this building are the world's highest post office, the world's highest hotel, and the world's longest laundry chute. The third highest tower in the world is also located in China. Only Toronto's CN Tower and Moscow's Ostankino Tower are taller than Shanghai's bizarrely shaped, 1,535-foot structure constructed on a tripod, with 11 glass modules. Name this tower.   2. Charles W. Howard, a Macy's department store Santa and consultant for the 1947 Christmas film, Miracle on 34th Street, founded a school that is now the world's oldest Santa School. Since 1937, Santas from all 50 states and several countries have trained at the school. Before an aspiring St. Nick can receive his red suspenders and keys to the reindeer barn and sleigh, he must complete 40 hours of instruction about the latest new toys and Santa legends. Those who complete a 10,000-word dissertation receive a bachelor's degree in Santa Claus. This world famous Santa School is located in a city situated at the confluence of the Tittabawassee and Chippewa Rivers. Name this city.

  3. Between Detroit and Pontiac is a famous street bordered by historic homes and neighborhoods. The Albert Kahn House was designed and built by Albert Kahn, one of Detroit's world-renowned architects. Kahn also designed buildings for Henry P. Joy, president of Packard Motor Co., Henry Ford and other prominent Detroiters. The Arden Park-East Boston Historic District is an upper class residential area that illustrates architectural styles popular in the early 20th Century. Prominent industrialists and professionals lived here, including many involved in the evolution of the American automobile industry. Name this well-known thoroughfare that is also home to a nationally televised parade.

  4. Located in a small park in the Huron-Manistee National Forest is a 14-foot bronze statue of three lumbermen, which celebrates Michigan's 1880s lumbering era. The cost for this memorial was raised by descendents of the 19th Century lumbermen who came to Michigan to harvest white pine. The Lumberman's Monument overlooks the river valley of the "River of Sand" and Horseshoe Island. It is located along 22 miles of country road, known as the River Road National Scenic Byway, which follows the south shore of the river. Name this pristine river, which flows into Lake Huron.

  5. True or false? The first state police radio system in the world was established by the Michigan State Police in 1929.
