KAUFMANN TO SPEAK IN PORT HURON AND HARBOR BEACH
The Lakeshore Guardian is thrilled to announce that Doug Kaufmann and his associate, Kyle Drew, a degreed chemist, are returning to Michigan to talk more about the link between fungus and disease. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE two-hour-long presentation. Generously, Doug Kaufmann will speak at two Michigan locations. Kaufmann will lecture on Friday evening, June 27, 2008, at 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.) at the Port Huron High School Performing Arts Center. On Saturday morning, June 28, 2008, Kaufmann will travel to Harbor Beach where he will speak at the Harbor Beach Community Theatre at 9 a.m. (Doors open at 8:30 a.m.)
Also in attendance at the June 2008 presentations will be Guy Evans, president of BioActive Nutrients. Located in Spooner, Wisconsin, BioActive Nutrients is committed to offering quality supplemental products at an affordable price, all with top-notch customer service.
Guy Evans spent years looking for a supplement that contained all the nutrients he needed to stay healthy. In despair over his lack of success, Evans turned to his father for advice, a father who had been a research biochemist for 30 years. After a great deal of research, his father created a multivitamin/multimineral supplement for his friends and family. The result: Word spread of the goodness of this creation and a business was born from necessity.
Evans speaks of his company’s humble beginnings. “We were like most vitamin companies; we had some of the main and more common vitamins and minerals and supplements. And then I met Doug Kaufmann.”
Evans’ initial impression of Kaufmann when they first met in 1997 was a healthy mix of admiration and skepticism. “I did a radio interview with him. I really enjoyed and admired him right away, but quite honestly, I thought he was a little bit crazy…to think that fungus is to blame?…It took me years to come around to understand he is 100 percent, dead-on right.”
Evans has spent 10 years trying to prove Kaufmann wrong, without success. “He has changed my outlook and the way we do business,” adds Evans.
In its infancy, BioActive Nutrients offered products that worked on different symptoms. “Certainly taking a multivitamin and antioxidant is good prevention,” explains Evans. After following Kaufmann’s hypothesis connecting the fungal link and autoimmune disease, Evans learned, “…a person can take several things to control those different symptoms, or they can take an antifungal for a short time.”
Gayle Belkiewicz of Port Huron has been instrumental in assisting The Lakeshore Guardian in its efforts to bring Kaufmann to the southern end of their shoreline readership. In a recent interview, Gayle shared, “I am so excited at the opportunity to have Doug Kaufmann speaking in Port Huron! I first had the chance to hear one of Doug’s lectures last year in Harbor Beach; his knowledge, and the way he presents the information is captivating.”
Such an impression did Kaufmann make upon Gayle, she began to encourage people to listen to what Doug had to say. “Upon my return from Harbor Beach, I talked with many people who either knew of Doug or wished they had known about the 2007 lecture. That’s when I knew I had to see if we could bring Doug to Port Huron. The information that Doug has to share with the health conscious people in the community is a life-changing opportunity for them. Anyone with any health issues and or those wishing to avoid future problems needs to hear what Doug has to say. I’d like to thank Doug and The Lakeshore Guardian for making this meeting a possibility for so many people who are looking for answers to their health-related questions.”
Dr. Timothy Grondin, a Port Huron-area chiropractor who also specializes in Applied Kinesiology, is also looking forward to Kaufmann’s return. “In my humble opinion, Doug Kaufmann is providing an invaluable service to humanity. The medical community does not get nearly enough education in fungus, so they don’t look for it nearly enough. Patients with fungal infections often slip through the cracks and often get misdiagnosed to the detriment of their health and well being.”
Dr. Grondin applauds Kaufmann for his tenacity and persistence in sharing his knowledge about the link between fungus and autoimmune diseases. “Doug Kaufmann is out there sounding the alarm, letting people know this (fungus) is a potential problem for you and to consider it. I have nothing but respect for that man.”
Kaufmann and Drew visited Harbor Beach in April 2007, and people gathered from near and far to learn more about the link between fungus and autoimmune diseases, and how diet and lifestyle changes play a role in the journey toward better health.
June 27 & 28, 2008, will prove to be two life-changing days for many. Both Kaufmann and Drew speak in charismatic style, and all will have eyes glued to the stage. In Port Huron, Kaufmann plans to share a 25-point presentation validating his hypothesis. “I encourage people to attend both lectures. We’ll talk about the PowerPoint presentation Friday night in Port Huron and really delve into the program Saturday morning in Harbor Beach,” says Kaufmann.
Kaufmann and Drew will also provide information about supplements versus pharmaceutical drugs and which really treat fungal conditions. If you or someone you love is afflicted with serious disease, this free, educational presentation may be the best two hours you’ve spent in your journey toward better health.
Doug Kaufmann is a nationally recognized author, lecturer and television and radio show host, with more than 30 years of experience in diversified health care. Through his monthly column in The Lakeshore Guardian, Doug Kaufmann has helped hundreds of people find answers to their health questions.
In a recent interview, Kaufmann stated, “Several years ago, Julie asked me if I would honor her readers by writing a regular health column in The Lakeshore Guardian. Years later, two thoughts come to mind; it has been anything but “regular,” and the honor has been all mine. Of all the writing I do, I’m hard pressed to find any as rewarding as that which I do for Lakeshore Guardian readers; learning how important, albeit controversial, this information has been to them means the world to me!”
Through his involvement in research and clinical work, Kaufmann discovered almost all autoimmune disorders are actually fungal conditions. He went on to say, “Someday, I pray that all doctors will understand that drugs like Tamoxifen for breast cancer, Lipitor for high cholesterol, Colchisine for gout, Prozac for depression, and even aspirin for pain share a commonality; they all have anti-fungal properties! What then, do you suppose causes the very diseases that these drugs treat?”
Fungi emit a poison called a mycotoxin, and these commonly impregnate human tissues. You have undoubtedly heard of these mycotoxins, but perhaps not by name. Alcohol IS a mycotoxin. Antibiotics ARE mycotoxins. Mold in our schools and office buildings CREATE mycotoxins in our lungs. As these disseminate throughout the blood stream, they mimic every disease from asthma to cancer.”
The importance of Kaufmann’s discoveries has made him passionate in helping others on their journey to better health. Kaufmann has written several books, and has enjoyed much success with his television show, Know the Cause!, which is currently distributed to over 100 million American households via DISH, DirecTV, FamilyNet, Faith TV, Cornerstone Network, Sky Angel and Christian Television Network.
Kyle Drew is a degreed chemist who left a career in the pharmaceutical industry to pursue the cause of disease. Along with Kaufmann, Drew will expound on the hazards fungus can create in your life. Beginning with the June issue of The Lakeshore Guardian, Kyle Drew will share through his new monthly column his views on the fungal connection. Drew’s experience on both sides of the pharmaceutical fence offer a unique perspective to those struggling to find the cause of their health challenges.
Kaufmann encourages any doctor interested in mycology, the study of fungus, or in the root cause of cancer or diabetes to attend. After the presentation, Doug Kaufmann and Kyle Drew will address questions from the audience. “I hope they (the audience) go away with knowledge. Anybody…with cancer or heart disease really needs to come.”
Armed with information from Kaufmann’s last presentation, many attendees have begun the Phase I or Phase II diets. In The Lakeshore Guardian’s commitment to support good health, the Fungus Fighters Health Group, a support network for individuals focusing on the cause of their ailments, continues to meet regularly in Harbor Beach, the group inspired by Doug Kaufmann. The cities of Harbor Beach and Port Huron are very fortunate to host such an eloquent speaker dedicated to sharing with others the fungal link to disease.
Doug Kaufmann and Kyle Drew will be conducting a presentation at 7 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2008, at the Port Huron High School’s Performing Arts Center located on 2215 Court Street, just off 24th Street in Port Huron. It is a beautiful, new 600-seat venue; be sure to come early as we’re anticipating a full house - doors open at 6:30 p.m. For more information on the Port Huron event, please contact Gayle at 810-434-1143.
On Saturday morning, Kaufmann and Drew will speak at 9 a.m. at the Harbor Beach Community House, in the theatre, located on the northeast corner of State and Main Streets in Harbor Beach. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. This is Kaufmann’s fourth lecture in Harbor Beach since his column began to appear in The Lakeshore Guardian. For more information on the Harbor Beach event, please contact Julie at 989-712-0042. If you want to get well soon, please open your mind to the fungal link and learn the cause of your disease. Kaufmann’s presentation may not only change your life, it may just save it.
