SPRING THROUGH FALL

River and Stream Fishing Adventures
Northbound Adventures offers several spring, summer and fall river and stream fishing vacations in the north central Upper Peninsula.

We offer guided fishing opportunities on several rivers in the Alger County area, including Indian River, Miners River and the Au Train River. The fishing starts early in the spring as the ice leaves the lakes and the salmon and steelhead begin their journey to Lake Superior. The fishing continues on the rivers throughout the summer as we will take you to several locations to catch the native brook trout as well as rainbow and brown trout. As summer turns to fall we can experience great fishing as the salmon and steelhead again begin their spawning runs from the river mouths all the way up stream.

We will accommodate 1-4 people on these fishing trips and the rate is $50 per person. All bait and tackle is included, but feel free to bring your own fishing gear if you wish. We offer light spinning tackle, so bring your own fly fishing equipment if are looking for a fly fishing trip. Waders are beneficial, but not always necessary.
